Article 1 – Purpose
These Terms of Service (ToS) govern the use of the Nodin mobile application ("the Application"), published by the Nodin team.
Article 2 – Acceptance and Eligibility
By using the Application, you fully accept these Terms of Service. The Application is intended for people aged 18 or older. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the Application.
Article 3 – Description of Service
Nodin is a wellness application that allows users to check in with each other by sharing a daily sign of life. If no sign of life is received, designated contacts are notified.
Article 4 – Disclaimer: Not an Emergency Service
Nodin is not an emergency, medical, or security service and does not replace emergency services (such as police, fire, or ambulance). The service depends on the availability of your device, your connection, and third-party services, and does not guarantee the transmission or receipt of alerts. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
Article 5 – Premium Subscription
Certain advanced features are available through a paid Premium subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your App Store (Apple) or Google Play account and renew automatically at the end of each period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Management and cancellation are handled in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Pricing is displayed in the Application before any purchase.
Article 6 – Account and Deletion
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information. You may delete your account and your data at any time from within the Application.
Article 7 – Liability
The Application is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the Nodin team cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from its use, including technical failures, unavailability, or delays in alert transmission.
Article 8 – Data Protection
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, accessible from within the Application.
Article 9 – Apple App Store Specific Terms
When you download the Application from the Apple App Store, these Terms are entered into between you and the Nodin team only, and not with Apple. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the Application. Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the Application (product liability, legal compliance, or third-party rights). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Article 10 – Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be notified through the Application.
Article 11 – Governing Law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts.
